First Blog and Great Pyramid of Giza in Minecraft!

Hello and welcome to the first official MickCraft blog post!

You can find my YouTube channel here: http://www.youtube.com/user/MickCraft

While the YouTube channel is mostly dedicated to StarCraft 2, this blog will be primarily dedicated to Minecraft and the mega structures that we create in it.

Tonight we began the Great Pyramid of Giza in Minecraft, only the outer shell has been complete but it required the work of four players (myself, two Bens, and Devin) and about three total hours of work (one of these was just in set up).

We are going to be completing the pyramid, creating all of the tombs and air shafts inside, in the next coming days, so stay tuned for screenshots on the progress of that.  I will also be posting walk-through videos on the YouTube channel in the coming days.

Here are some photos of our work in progress, the pyramid has a base area of 100x100, it peaks out at 7 or 8 blocks below the sky cap and its shell is 3 blocks thick.

I am using the  DokuCraft 1.6.5 texture pack in the screenshots taken by me in case you are wondering!
